[Yamaguchi knew the blond all too well. Even if Tsukki wouldn't verbally express worry he knew it might be something that was bothering him in the back of his mind. So before he can even think that Yamaguchi wouldn't support him he was going to get rid of that worry.

He's not a bad guy, he's just protective of his friends. Which extends to Kenma. Of course he's going to worry about how he's going to be treated. [this...kind of implies that he thinks highly of hinata in this regard, but whatever.]
