| [ With no need to actually attend class, Kenma has been, often times, staying up into the night and sleeping in the next morning. Today turns out to be different, though only in the sleeping in part, with him venturing out of the house early to head to the pleasure gate area. There's a shop in particular that he has his sights set on, and arriving as it opens is critical to make sure his efforts aren't in vain. You wouldn't want to be too late to try a new cake that's been put on the menu, right? Right. Which is exactly the reason that Kenma, in his yawning, slightly drowsy glory, stands outside said shop, Nekoma jacket sliding off one shoulder as he waits for the place to open. He hopes he'll be one of the few, if not the only, to arrive this early so that it won't be crowded or noisy, but he almost wished he had company in Shouyou or another of his few friends. ] |

| [ Perhaps if Kenma spent more time outdoors he'd have noticed how the weather has been varying degrees of rain lately, but as it is he's gotten unfortunately stranded under an awning of a store after the rain had started for the evening. It's heavy but not too bad (yet, the scheduled downpour and floor will soon be coming), and he'd settled in to wait it out. Well, he'd done that about an hour ago but there's really no sign of the rain letting up... Instead he can very clearly see that it's getting worse, and, of course, Kenma doesn't have an umbrella. Pushing up the damp sleeves of his sweater, he takes out his phone. ] are you out somewhere or at home? i'm stuck out in the rain... |
